My little brother David, who currenly lives at home with our mother, has found an opportunity to go to Greece. So, being the big brother that I am, I gave him some money for Christmas so that he would be that much closer to his goal, and our mother promised to match any money that he raises with her own to help him out.
In the process of thinking of how I can help him out, I decided that the best way would be to make it as accessible as possible for him to tell people about his trip. So, I build him a WordPress site and I am hosting it all for free. He is currently able to receive PayPal donations through the site. They go to my account, but I will write and send him a check before his trip so that he can make the payment date and go to Greece. David is doing odd jobs for people to raise cash, he has been working on getting a partial scholarship, and he is also selling energy drinks to earn commission for his trip.
He currently has about 10% of what he needs, based on the promised match, but he only has a short time to raise the rest. Hopefully, our family and friends will come through and the work the two of us have put in will pay off.
