Fortune Cookies are totally cheesy, fake as hell and generally a kind of joke in the grand scheme of things (and sometimes not so grand).

Despite all of the history and relevancy of these sometimes delicious and often stale cookies, they can be a lot of fun and sometimes actually apply to the life of the consumer.
Here are a couple fortune cookie fortunes that I keep taped on the inside of my notepad cover:

Your golden opportunity is coming shortly.
I have had these previous two for some time and waiting for them to come to fruition. Things are definitely looking up. Maybe the author figured that everyone gets lucky at least once and the probability that the reader will get lucky after receiving this fortune is pretty good?
Let your social instincts off the leash, and talk to all and sundry.
