I do not have the tallies all in yet, but my estimate is that we raised just about $1500 for The Prostate Cancer Foundation and The Lance Armstrong Foundation at the party!
Thank you to all the people who came to the party, who brought donations both monetary and for the raffle, who helped me keep things running smoothly, and who had a great time.
As I get more pictures and information I will post them both here on my blog and through Twitter so that everyone can get a glimpse of the great fun we had. If you know who all won prizes at the event, I would really appreciate you sharing this information with me so I can share with our sponsors.

The Metal Mustaches are a group of guys and women who have banded together to grow and support the growth of beards and awesome metal mustaches in the name of raising money to fight Men’s Cancers.

I don't know if you can tell, but I am worn out!
I am sorry to say there are not a ton of Movember updates for today. I went to KC on black Friday to get my new truck, replace some parts & do maintenance, and then today I drove the whole day away from KC to Denver. Basically, I did zero amount of work on anything pertaining to computers, the internet or Movember (other than grow my beard) this weekend. I am crashing pretty quickly so it is off to bed for me. I have to get up and be a programmer in the morning, so sleep is imperative.

I decided that both growing my beard and my hair out was a bad idea. I had entirely too much hair atop my head, so one had to go. I gave myself a haircut.

It is almost here! I know I keep saying that, but it is pretty exciting to me that all of this has come together so fast and that so many people are interested in the event.
With all of the excitement though, I STILL have not seen very many RSVPs to the event. PLEASE RSVP!! We really need to know that people are actually coming, and we are hoping to raise a bunch of money to fight Prostate Cancer. Without YOU we cannot raise enough money.

Melissa and I have just been hanging out at the apartment for most of the day. I made some phone calls yesterday and found the truck I have been looking for in Kansas City. So, I have been working out all the details for me to go into KC next weekend to pick it up, do some work on it and drive it back to Denver. I am very excited.
