Recently, I have noticed a bit of ingenuity on the part of spam bots that are hitting my blog sites. They have been posting jokes, one-liners actually, to my comments. They also have links to viagra and cialis so I do not approve them. Here are a couple examples: Did you hear about the dyslexic rabbi? He was walking around everywhere saying, “Yo!” How do you circumcise a whale? Send down fore-skin divers. What do you call bedtime stories for boats? Ferry tales. The easiest way to put a digg tag on every page of your blog, is to use WordPress widgets. Go to the widgets, add a text widget and paste the following code in: <script type="text/javascript"> digg_url = document.location.href; </script> <script src="http://digg.com/tools/diggthis.js" type="text/javascript"></script> Then, go to your homepage and refresh! I ran into a problem with one of the blogs that I manage, there was no way to upgrade a plugin. It just wouldn’t get past the FTP information form. I put the correct FTP information in, and that failed too. I was out of options, so I went searching and found a plugin called “One Click Plugin Updater“. This plugin actually saved me a ton of work, and trouble in the future because it has some amazing features.
