Movember is upon us and Men around the world are donating their time and their faces to fight Men’s Cancers, specifically Prostate Cancer.

What a great event! All you have to do is not shave a part of your face and go to awesome parties celebrating mustaches, how easy can it get?

Today was the first time I could actually clean up my face (my facial hair is slow to grow, anyone got some rogain?).  It is hard to tell, but I have shaved my mustache down the sides of my mouth to my neck. I also have some mutton chops going too…More to come!

Movember is coming up fast and there are going to be TONS of awesome events this year.  The Movember Foundation has gotten all of us Denver people organized and as a team we are already rocking it!

It is almost here! I know I keep saying that, but it is pretty exciting to me that all of this has  come together so fast and that so many people are interested in the event.

With all of the excitement though, I STILL have not seen very many RSVPs to the event.  PLEASE RSVP!!  We really need to know that people are actually coming, and we are hoping to raise a bunch of money to fight Prostate Cancer.  Without YOU we cannot raise enough money.

As the month is closing out, I am finding that the Movember party is getting closer much faster than I anticipated.  Despite this, I am getting tons of help from great people in Denver.  There are so many prizes in the works right now that are not even mentioned on the event page, I just hope to get the info up before the event!

Cricket wanted to help with this picture

Melissa and I have just been hanging out at the apartment for most of the day.  I made some phone calls yesterday and found the truck I have been looking for in Kansas City.  So, I have been working out all the details for me to go into KC next weekend to pick it up, do some work on it and drive it back to Denver. I am very excited.

The Denver Tweetup is tonight, so I will be trying to tell more people about the party.  I hope that we can bring in a bunch of people, it would be nice to raise all that money and get some good competition for the prizes.

Yesterday, we added a $75 gift certificate from www.plumsageflowers.com.

Update in my world:

Yesterday the Camry’s transmission decided that it was going on strike or at least that it was going to be VERY lazy.  So, I have started looking for a new car. I think I want a Toyota truck like a Tundra or a 4Runner.  If you know anyone, please tell me!
